A Day On The Farm....

A Day On The Farm....

The day started out pretty good, Jacob, Matt and I all met up early in the morning for the drive to the farm.  It was a couple 2-3 hours drive so we carpooled up there.  Jacob had worked the night before so he was running on little sleep.  This was the first time I had worked with both Jacob and Matt, so we spent the next few hours getting to know each other as we drove to the farm.

We were hoping that the farm would not be too busy so we could capture some great shots.  It is an old abandoned farm that they have turned into a park.  We all worked together great as a team, as I was working with either Jacob or Matt, the other would stand watch and inform us if anyone was coming to close to where we were working..... Great Team Work!

Being inside of one of the buildings, well what was left of the building, we got the word from Matt, the coast was clear from visitors.

I meet Jacob through one of my postings looking for a model to shoot at this location.  It was one of his lady friends that saw my post and tagged him in it.  So we all owe his lady friend a big thank you!

Jacob was interested in doing the collaboration as he already has a fantastic portfolio but was lacking some, well lets just say risker dudeior type shots.

As I mentioned this was a park that we were working with and you can see the window in the above shot.  What I did not capture in the photo was there were a few people mingling just outside the window.  Made us have a good laugh, knowing they were just a few feet away.

But as you can see having an audience didn't bother Jacob one bit, it actually motivated him as he brought on some of his great movements.

There were so many cool buildings that we were able to work in and captured so many beautiful shots of both Jacob and Matt

And then it was a wrap, we headed off for some lunch, a bit to drink and a long drive back home where there was a bunch of very entertaining conversation.
